L’Être-Culture

The Être-Culture (Being-Culture) is understanding that an artist isn’t, and shouldn’t be, bound to the production of artworks. It goes against the compartmentalization, specialization, and individuation of artists and rather explores the potential to impact every level of cultural production. L’Être-Culture is to acknowledge the creation of culture as a modular process where the artist is, and could be, implicated in every aspect of it; organizing (or curating), writing, exhibiting, thinking and of course making.
